Sample Boarding Contract You will be required to sign a contract like the following (with blanks filled in) before your pet is admitted.

1. All dogs must be fully vaccinated to level of C5.  All cats must be vaccinated to the level of F3.  A valid certificate of vaccination, showing a vaccination date at least a week before the day of admission must be shown before admission.   
2. The owner agrees to pay [___ ] per day for the time the animal(s) are boarded.  Check-out time is 11 am.  Any animal that is picked up after checkout time may incur a bill for the following day.
3. If the dog or cat needs veterinary attention the owners are liable for all costs and out of pocket expenses.  In case of serious illness or accident where the owner cannot be contacted, the veterinary surgeon’s decision relating to the treatment of the animal will be accepted without contest.
4. All charges incurred by the owner must be paid before the animal leaves the Kennel/Cattery.  Should the customer default in the payment of any monies due under this agreement then all monies due to Dogz Kennel & Catz Cattery shall immediately become due and payable and shall be paid by the customer within seven (7) days of the date of demand.  Dogz Kennel & Catz Cattery shall be entitled to charge interest at the rate of 15 % per annum on all overdue accounts from the due date until the date of actual payment.
5. Dogs not collected within 14 days of the specified date will be disposed of at the discretion of the Kennel/Cattery. All monies owing, including fees and costs relating to disposal, are payable by the owner immediately upon receipt of invoice from Dogz Kennel & Catz Cattery.
6. Any expenses, costs or disbursements incurred by the Kennel/Cattery in recovering or attempting to recover any outstanding monies including reasonable Debt Collection Agency fees and Solicitors costs shall be paid by the customer.
7. Dogz Kennel & Catz Cattery reserves the right to refuse any animal
8. For stays of more than two weeks, 50% of board must be paid in advance.
9. The owner agrees to be solely responsible for any and all harm/damage done by the animal while the animal is in the care of Dogz Kennel & Catz Cattery,
10. The owner releases Dogz Kennel & Catz Cattery and its employees or agents from all liability for injury, death, loss or damage of any kind whatsoever that may occur to any animal in the care of or staying at Dogz Kennel & Catz Cattery, including injury, death or loss or damage while under the supervision of Dogz Kennel & Catz Cattery, its staff, agents or subcontractors.
11. By signing the conditions of contract and leaving his/her animal with Dogz Kennel & Catz Cattery the owner warrants the accuracy of all information given about the animal. The owner acknowledges that the signing of the contract shall create a lien over the animal in favour of Dogz Kennel & Catz Cattery which lien shall continue to exist whilst ever monies or owing pursuant to the contract.

I acknowledge I have read the above conditions of contract for boarding my animal with Dogz Kennel & Catz Cattery and that the terms and conditions set-out above apply and will regulate my contract for the care of my animal by Dogz Kennel & Catz Cattery and that all the terms of my contract with Dogz Kennel & Catz Cattery are set-out in this contract and I cannot rely on any earlier contract or on any statements made in negotiations leading to my entering into this contract.
